On Oct 19, 2017. While applying the latest security patches to our site, we discovered the ability to login using a Facebook account is no longer working. If you are currently logging in using a Facebook account, you can still access your account directly by submitting a password reset request. This will convert your account to a local login retaining your profile and settings. Other than how you login, your experience will remain unchanged.

In order for us to feature you on the front page and let folks know that you are a member, we need to know a little about you that we can share with our followers. By doing the following, you'll maximize your visibility all-around.

When you great a new blog post, we automatically post it social media during optimal hours. A day or two later, we'll repost it at a different time of the day.

This gets your posts out there at different times so that different audiences will have the opportunity to see what you've got to share.

New content is indexed throughout the day for our local search so you may not show up right away. Rest assured, your pages will be indexed. Typically your post will be picked-up by the major search engines within a week, however, that is not in our control and may vary.

You may need to click play on the Facebook video, before right clicking to get the video URL. The video URL should look similar to this: https://www.facebook.com/Panictheclown/videos/1741222439485299/

If the video URL looks like this, it's the MP4 and won't work: https://video-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t42.1790-2/14137570_1761746064099353_1137619455_n.mp4?efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6InN2ZV9zZCJ9&oh=f724b7d9ae2d500066ae5ab542d1be1c&oe=57D118D6

If you require additional assistance posting your video's, please drop me a note

We queue the posts and publish them at varying intervals so that we don't blast the social media sites with a bunch of great content all at once. If it's later in the evening, we queue the postings and send them outthe next day when they are more likely to be seen by our followers.

To find the URL for your video on your computer on facebook, right click on the video and click "Show video URL" copy and paste it into the "Embedded Video" field in the content that you create on Haunter's Web. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page and it will automatically be embedded and resized on the various pages and social media sites that we promote it to.

I selected a number of my favorite sites to add to Spider Sites. If I didn't include you, please don't be offended. There are only so many hours in a day. If you would like to be added, drop me a note with the URL and I'll see what I can do.

Spider sites don't receive the same Search Engine Optimization as blog posts, thus resulting in lower rankings, not to mention, they don't get the same Auto-Repost treatment on our social media sites.

Member Blogs with uploaded images, embedded videos and all around great content from the Halloween and haunt community is what makes Haunter's Web great.

There are a lot of other great Haunt Sites out there, why should I Join Haunter's Web?

While I agree, there are some amazing sites out there with great content. I find it difficult to find what I'm looking for, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram are great, which is why I have tightly integrated my site with theirs. My goal is to provide a central location that the haunt community and related artisans can save more persistent information and from there, share on social media. It's the best of both worlds. Here are some of the features and functionality that I've built into HauntersWeb:
